Committee on Access, Opportunity and Impact
Guides association-wide efforts that advance access, opportunity and belonging for student-athletes by providing leadership on programs, initiatives and emerging issues across the NCAA community.
Common Ground
Brings together athletics administrators and campus leaders to explore topics related to inclusion, belonging and student-athlete well-being through meaningful dialogue, education and shared experiences.
Community & Belonging Campaign
A nationwide campaign highlighting stories, experiences and initiatives that foster belonging, connection and support for student-athletes across NCAA schools, conferences and communities.
Community Connections
Supports student-athletes and campuses by promoting opportunities for engagement, relationship-building and meaningful connections that strengthen campus communities and student well-being.
Emerging Sports for Women
Expands participation opportunities for women by supporting the growth of emerging sports to championship status and helping schools enhance opportunities for student-athletes.
Impact Forum
The NCAA Impact Forum brings together student-athletes and campus leaders to develop leadership skills, to learn practical skills to support belonging and well-being, and to create positive change within their communities.
Opportunities and Impact Award
Recognizes NCAA schools and conferences for programs and initiatives that support leadership, service, inclusion and meaningful impact within their campus communities.
USOPC/NCAA Para-College Inclusion Project
Supports student-athletes with disabilities by expanding access to adaptive sport opportunities, strengthening campus inclusion and creating pathways to Paralympic sport participation.

Student-Athletes with Disabilities

Student-athletes with disabilities are an important part of the NCAA community. The NCAA encourages full participation and works with member schools to provide reasonable modifications and accommodations that support every student-athlete’s success.

Gender Equity & Title IX

The NCAA supports opportunities for all student-athletes to participate, compete and succeed. Title IX has helped expand access, scholarships, facilities and support services for women across more than 50 years of college athletics.

International Student-Athletes

More than 25,000 international student-athletes study and compete at NCAA member schools. The Office of Inclusion works with schools, conferences and campus partners to help navigate eligibility, academics and life in a new country.
