Division III Rules Education

Division III institutions are responsible for understanding and applying NCAA legislation that supports fair competition, academic success and the Division III philosophy. Rules education resources help athletics administrators, coaches and institutional staff stay informed about legislative requirements and policy updates that impact student-athletes and member schools.

The Division III Rules Test is one of several educational tools used to reinforce knowledge of NCAA legislation and support institutional compliance. The test serves as a resource for coaches, athletics administrators and institutional staff while covering topics such as recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, amateurism and playing and practice season requirements.
