The NCAA inclusion, education and community engagement department advances diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging across college athletics through educational programming, leadership development and strategic partnerships that support student-athletes, coaches and administrators. The postgraduate internship program offers multiple positions across the department, providing interns with hands-on experience in educational initiatives, community engagement, championship and event programming and student-athlete development while collaborating with NCAA staff and member institutions on projects that promote inclusive excellence throughout intercollegiate athletics.
College graduates with a bachelor’s degree from a four-year NCAA member institution who are interested in diversity and inclusion, education, leadership development or student-athlete engagement.
A full-time, in-person internship at the NCAA national office in Indianapolis, offering multiple positions that support inclusion, education and community engagement initiatives across the Association.
A yearlong program running June 15, 2026 through May 28, 2027. Relocation to Indianapolis is required.
Interns are paid hourly at a rate that equates to $33,000 annualized and receive full benefits. Applicants should plan for their own relocation costs to Indianapolis.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year NCAA member institution by the internship start date
- No prior experience as an NCAA national office intern or employee
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (international students may apply through Optional Practical Training for F-1 students)
- Interest in diversity and inclusion, education, leadership development or student-athlete engagement
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in campus programming, student leadership or community engagement is preferred
