The NCAA Eligibility Center, within the Association’s Regulatory Affairs division, supports college-bound student-athletes, member institutions, and high schools by providing education on NCAA initial-eligibility requirements and certifying academic and athletics credentials in accordance with NCAA legislation and policy.
Throughout the yearlong internship program, Eligibility Center interns work closely with each of the department’s functional units, including Core Processing, Academic and Athletics Review, High School Review, Outreach and Strategic Partnerships, and Customer Service. Through these rotational experiences, interns develop a comprehensive understanding of the certification process and the critical role each unit plays in supporting prospective student-athletes and NCAA member schools.
College graduates with a bachelor’s degree from a four-year NCAA member institution who are interested in eligibility certification, compliance, regulatory affairs or student-athlete academic services.
A full-time, in-person internship at the NCAA national office in Indianapolis, rotating through six teams that support the initial-eligibility certification process for college-bound student-athletes.
A yearlong program running June 15, 2026 through May 28, 2027. Relocation to Indianapolis is required.
Interns are paid hourly at a rate that equates to $33,000 annualized and receive full benefits. Applicants should plan for their own relocation costs to Indianapolis.
