About the Campaign
For student-athletes, belonging shows up in the connections made with teammates, the support of coaches and mentors, and the impact they have on their communities. This campaign celebrates those authentic voices and experiences, inviting student-athletes to share what belonging and community mean to them. The campaign was created in collaboration with the Office of Inclusion and the National Student-Athlete Advisory Committees.

Preparing for the Campaign
Before the April 15–16 campaign, student-athletes, athletics departments, and conference offices planning to participate should prepare by establishing clear communication and taking these steps:
- Coordinate with campus leaders. Connect with your athletics communications director, athletics director, senior woman administrator, and the administrator supporting belonging and well-being efforts.
- Engage your SAAC leadership. Ask your campus SAAC president to notify the sports information director (SID) so the SID can prepare content, monitor posts, and amplify them on school channels.
- Loop in media relations. Your campus media relations office can boost social media engagement and improve campaign coverage quality.
- Inform teammates. Ask SAAC representatives to share campaign dates, themes, and participation steps with their teams.
- Maximize social media reach. Post across multiple platforms to broaden the campaign’s audience.
