The Criteria

A school earns an academic unit by meeting any ONE of the three standards:

  • Graduation Success Rate equal to or greater than 90 percent (single-year rate, individual level, most recent year).
  • Federal Graduation Rate gap between student-athletes and student body equal to or greater than 13 percentage points.
  • Academic Progress Rate equal to or greater than 985 for the previous year (average of single-year scores across all teams).
