Creating Meaningful Connections Beyond the Game
Across NCAA campuses, student-athletes are using their platforms to make a lasting difference in the lives of children facing serious illness and disability. One way they do this is by working closely with Team IMPACT, a national nonprofit that connects children with college athletic teams, turning teammates into lifelong supporters and advocates.
By working hand-in-hand with Team IMPACT, NCAA schools are helping children experience the sense of inclusion, confidence, and joy that comes with being part of a team. At the same time, student-athletes gain powerful perspective and purpose—living out the NCAA’s mission of education, service, and leadership through sport.
More stories from across our three divisions will be added soon, highlighting how NCAA teams are embracing this opportunity to build life-changing relationships on and off the field.
"The thing that Team IMPACT brings to our relationship with the NCAA is an opportunity for student-athletes to grow and development a better appreciation for what it means to have this opportunity to play college sports at the highest level and that's a lesson I think you take with you everywhere."
