As with enforcement in all three NCAA divisions, the infractions process aims to uphold integrity and fair play among our schools, and to prescribe appropriate and fair penalties if violations occur. The process is committed to fairness of procedures and the timely and equitable resolution of infractions cases.
Â
Achievement of these objectives is essential to the conduct of a viable and effective infractions process. Further, an important consideration in prescribing penalties is to provide fairness to uninvolved student-athletes, coaches, administrators, competitors and other institutions.
Â
Infractions cases at the Division II level are infrequent; however, when they do occur, all representatives of member schools are expected to cooperate fully with the NCAA enforcement staff, Division II Committee on Infractions, Division II Infractions Appeals Committee and Division II Management Council to further the objectives of the Association and its infractions program. The enforcement policies and procedures require full and complete disclosure by all school representatives of any relevant information requested during the course of an inquiry.
