Stanford senior Lexie Hull has been named the Elite 90 Award winner at the 2022 NCAA Women's Final Four.
She earned the Elite 90 recognition with a 3.88 GPA on her way to graduating in May with both bachelor's and master's degrees in management science and engineering.
"I'm super honored to have gotten it," Hull said. "I think there's definitely a lot of qualified people who could have gotten it. I think it's just, my hard work in the classroom and out on the court has paid off."

Hull is a two-time College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American (2021-22), the 2022 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the 2022 Senior CLASS Award winner. All of this is on top of three all-conference recognitions, twice being named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team, Pac-12 conference titles each of the past two years, and a national championship in 2021.
Given how much she's accomplished on and off the court, Hull counts herself fortunate to be part of the Stanford program and is thankful for the support she's received on campus.
"Stanford has a lot of great resources to help on the road traveling a lot. There are a bunch of tutors and an academic resource center that helps when we need help," she said.
The Spokane, Washington, native hopes her story can help others who want to pursue a similar path. For her, everything she's accomplished starts with what happens in the classroom.
"Put in the work in the classroom starting as young as you can," Hull said. "I definitely would not have gotten to Stanford, let alone gotten this, without taking care of business in the classroom first."
After basketball, Hull would love to start her own company one day. But for now, she has one more weekend of hoops ahead.
Hull and the Cardinal take on UConn at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time Friday. The Women's Final Four begins earlier Friday with Louisville vs. South Carolina at 7 p.m. Eastern time. ESPN will broadcast both games.
