Before You Submit a Nomination

Eligibility to Serve
To be eligible to serve on a divisional committee, or as a divisional representative on an Association-wide or common committee, an individual must be salaried on a regular basis by an institution or conference in the same division and perform a regular staff function representing at least 50% of the normal workload, unless otherwise specified.

Division I September 2026 Vacancy Timeline

  • NCAA Committee on Access, Opportunity and Impact – staff contactAmy Wilson.  One September vacancy (replacing Noreen Morris).  This vacancy is open to all divisions.  Committee preference: higher education and/or athletics legal, policy, or governance expert. The following conference are currently represented and therefore not eligible for this vacancy: DI (ACC, Big Ten, Big East, Big Sky, MAC, MVC, SWAC); DII (CIAA, ECC, MEC, NE10, PBC, PSAC); DIII (CUNYAC, Conference of New England, Empire 8, Liberty League, North Atlantic Conference, United East Conference).
  • NCAA Committee on Access, Opportunity and Impact – staff contactAmy Wilson.  One September vacancy (replacing Noreen Morris).  This vacancy is open to all divisions.  Committee preference: higher education and/or athletics legal, policy, or governance expert.   • NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Committee – staff contact: Mitchell Bailey.  One immediate vacancy (replacing Mark Rutledge).  Individual must be from the Central Region and may be a coach or administrator.

Division III January 2027 Vacancy Timeline

  • Division III Women’s Softball Committee -staff contactCorey Bray.  One immediate vacancy – Region V (replacing Jackie Klahold).  Individual may be a coach or administrator.
  • Division III Nominating Committee – staff contact: Jen Roe.  One immediate vacancy (replacing Megan Valentine).  Individual must be from geographic Area 2 (New York and Pennsylvania).  The following conference from this region is currently represented and therefore not eligible for this vacancy: Landmark.
  • Division III Management Council – staff contact: Bill Regan.  One immediate vacancy – Landmark Conference (replacing Christa Racine). Individuals must hold the following positions to be eligible for this committee: chancellor or presidents, athletic direct reports, director of athletics, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, and conference representatives.
