Second- and third-round games moved to avoid games on Thanksgiving Day
The Division I Women’s Soccer Oversight Committee this week made a date change to the second and third rounds of the 2026 Division I Women’s Soccer Championship.
Second-round competition will be Friday, Nov. 27, and the third-round games will be Monday, Nov. 30.
The date changes will avoid games being played on Thanksgiving Day.
Oversight committee members think the changes will provide a better championship experience for the student-athletes, coaches and fans.
