The Division II infractions process upholds integrity and fair play among member schools, provides fair procedures and supports the timely resolution of cases involving potential NCAA rules violations. When violations occur, the process is designed to prescribe appropriate and fair penalties while considering the impact on uninvolved student-athletes, coaches, administrators, competitors and other institutions.

Enforcement is one part of the broader infractions process. The enforcement staff works to ensure that compliant schools and student-athletes are not disadvantaged by their compliance and that potential violations are handled through a fair and consistent process.
