About these programs
The NCAA maintains two types of contracted relationships with outside companies. Official Equipment Suppliers provide the specific equipment used in NCAA championship competitions — balls, mats, flooring, timing systems and more — under defined contract terms. NCAA Licensees are authorized through The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) to produce merchandise carrying NCAA trademarks for retail sale and for use at championship events. Both programs protect the quality, consistency and trademark integrity of NCAA championships.
