NCAA Board of Governors
The NCAA Board of Governors provides strategic leadership on Association-wide issues that impact all three NCAA divisions. The board also establishes priorities and oversees key policy decisions that impact all divisions and member schools and conferences.
The board consists of nine voting members and seven ex officio nonvoting members, representing leadership across the Association. The board works on behalf of the membership to ensure the NCAA operates in a way that supports student-athletes, promotes fair competition and upholds the integrity of college sports.
What the Board Does
- Sets the overall direction for the NCAA
