Executive Affairs - Postgraduate Internship

The NCAA Executive Affairs department is a key leadership bureau at the NCAA. The department works directly with the presidential bodies and various councils and committees that dictate the landscape of college athletics. The department collaborates with the membership to implement and communicate policies to create the best possible student-athlete experience.  

The executive affairs intern supports the executive office to advance presidential initiatives, NCAA communications goals and Association-wide initiatives. Applicants for the position tend to possess strong abilities in communicating with a wide array of audiences, while remaining organized and attentive to detail.

Former interns within executive affairs have accepted communications and public policy roles at NCAA member schools and conferences and at national governing bodies.

  • Dec. 2023: Candidate selection and notification
  • June 17, 2024: The start date for the 2024-25 postgraduate internship cohort (Indianapolis, IN)
