Intern Perspective
“It is an awesome opportunity to be able to get such a holistic perspective on intercollegiate athletics. Everyone in the national office has a genuine, vested interest in making sure interns are establishing a strong foundation for themselves both personally and professionally.”
“I get a chance every day to help educate institutions on legislation, as well as find ways to provide relief to student-athletes with certain circumstances who need a waiver to participate in the sport they love. My team members, mentor and supervisor all have been an amazing support line for me to grow professionally throughout this year.”
“It is a great opportunity to be part of a team that is always offering to help me become an expert within my responsibilities but also openly inviting me to learn from different committees that contribute to the membership. As a result, it has allowed me to quickly meet and build relationships with many amazing leaders within the membership and outside of the national office within my first month.”
