Committee on Access, Opportunity and Impact

The NCAA transitioned the Board of Governors Committee to Promote Cultural Diversity and Equity, Committee on Women’s Athletics, Gender Equity Task Force and Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee to one Association-wide committee, the NCAA Committee on Access, Opportunity and Impact, to focus on providing leadership and guidance on strategic initiatives, programming and opportunities for the entire student-athlete community, reflecting a range of backgrounds and experiences across the Association. This transition is the result of the Board of Governors’ comprehensive 2022 review of Association-wide committees, along with a 2024 recommendation from the NCAA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees Review Working Group.
