Division I National SAAC Video Contest

What is it? The Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) would like to invite all Division I NCAA institutions to create a video showcasing the theme of “Driven by Change.”

The “Driven by Change” video contest invites student-athletes to share powerful, personal stories about how they’ve experienced change—on the field, in the classroom, or within their communities—and how they are now using their voices, platforms, and leadership to shape a better future for others while shining a light on emerging issues in college athletics in an effort to ensure student-athletes stay informed on evolving regulations, NIL opportunities, and governance updates. Prompt: "How has your institution been affected by change, and how are you now driving it on campus and in your community?"

What to do? Get started now on creating your "Driven by Change" video! Video submissions will be evaluated on the effectiveness of the message, creativity, quality, and ability to demonstrate your SAAC/athletics department change initiatives. We want to emphasize that we are looking for original content centered around the “Driven by Change”theme. Please note that your message should be non-partisan in nature.

Deadline for Video Submission: December 17, 2025

Winner will be Announced: January 23, 2026

Winning Prize: An award of $1,000 will be provided to the institution with the winning video to be used to support campus SAAC operations and activities. The winning video will also be highlighted at Division I championships!
