NCAA Membership Attestation Requirements

Attestation of Compliance

Division I only

Each NCAA Division I school or conference attests to compliance requirements for member schools, collaboration with the NCAA when an issue arises, and the importance of creating a culture of compliance on member campuses.

Deadline: November 3, 2023

Requirements: Presidents/chancellors, and directors of athletics must sign the completed attestation form for each school. Each director of athletics must complete the attestation module and uploaded the signed form in the NCAA Learning Portal found in MyApps through the Membership tab in the upper-right corner of this page. The below documents can be used for reference:

Only presidents and chancellors or directors of athletics may complete the attestation.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Review

Division I only

Each Division I member school or conference has the responsibility to conduct a DEI review every four years as outlined in NCAA Bylaws 20.2.4.3 (institutions) and 20.3.4.2 (conferences).

Deadline: November 3, 2023 (institutions); November 1, 2024 (conferences)

Requirements: Each chancellor/president and director of athletics from each school must sign and complete the attestation in the NCAA Learning Portal. The below documents can be used for reference:

Presidents/chancellors and director of athletics will be able to complete the attestation in the NCAA Learning Portal, found in MyApps through the Membership tab in the upper-right corner of this page.

Campus Sexual Violence Attestation

Association-Wide

In 2017, the NCAA Board of Governors adopted an Association-wide policy, to reinforce Association efforts regarding sexual violence prevention. 

Deadline: November 3, 2023 

Requirements: Presidents/chancellors, directors of athletics and campus Title IX coordinators must sign the completed attestation form for each school. Each director of athletics must complete the attestation module and uploaded the signed form in the NCAA Learning Portal found in MyApps through the Membership tab in the upper-right corner of this page. The below documents can be used for reference:
