How does an NCAA member school or conference appoint a delegate to vote or speak during a divisional business session?
Presidents, chancellors, directors of athletics and commissioners will receive emails in mid-November providing instructions to access the Appointment of Delegate Form specific to their school or conference, as applicable.

Why doesn’t a name show up on the dropdown list for voting or speaking delegates?
All names are automatically transferred to the Appointment of Delegate system once those individuals register for the NCAA Convention. If a name does not appear in the dropdown list, that may mean the attendee either has not registered for the Convention or has selected conference affiliation instead of the employer during the registration process.

Ask the individual to complete the registration or update the affiliation before trying again. If you continue to have issues, contact ncaaconvention@shortstravel.com.

What is the NCAA's policy on credential privileges?

Credentials are subject to terms and conditions for which they are issued. The NCAA reserves all rights and remedies to enforce adherence by credentialed people to NCAA policies. Anyone attending any meeting or event in conjunction with the NCAA Convention must be credentialed.

What is the dress code?

Dress for the NCAA Convention is business casual.

Does the NCAA provide transportation?

The NCAA will not provide transportation upon arrival to Anaheim. Convention attendees should secure their own reservations and are responsible for their own transportation costs to the Convention hotels.

The NCAA will provide complimentary airport shuttles to John Wayne Airport, Orange County, upon conclusion of the business sessions on Friday only.

Where will Convention activities take place?

The Anaheim Marriott, Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Convention Center will provide all meeting space for the Convention.
