Nearly 25,000 international student-athletes compete in NCAA sports from countries around the globe. The NCAA research staff has compiled data on the countries these athletes come from in Divisions I and II, as well as historical trends in participation. The NCAA Demographics Database also provides information on the number of international students competing in each sport.
