How to Become a DI SAAC Member

•  Let your institution know you are interested in serving on the SAAC.

•  Have your institution contact the multisport conference office and let them know of your interest in serving on the national SAAC.

•  Only Division I conferences may submit nominations for committee appointments.

•  Each conference must submit three nominees for consideration to allow for gender, ethnic and sport diversity.

•  Each conference has a different method to select the nominees for consideration.

•  The NCAA solicits SAAC nominations in March, with a conference submission deadline in May

•  SAAC representatives are selected in July.

•  SAAC representatives can serve up to two, two-year terms.  SAAC representatives can serve one year past the end of their intercollegiate eligibility.
