Committee Vacancies

Note: To be eligible to serve on a divisional cabinet or committee, or as a divisional representative on an Association-wide or common committee, an individual must be salaried on a regular basis by an institution or conference in the same division and perform a regular staff function representing at least 50 percent of the normal workload for a staff member at that institution or conference, unless otherwise specified.

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the following committee vacancies:

Division I

(no posted vacancies at this time)

Division I nominations must be submitted by a Division I conference. Contact your conference if you are interested in being considered for any Division I committee vacancy.

Division II

Deadline - April 19, 2019:

The NCAA is soliciting additional nominations for the following committee vacancies. Individuals with regional advisory committee (RAC) experience are encouraged to submit nominations for sports committees with RACs.

Deadline - May 10, 2019:

  • The NCAA is soliciting nominations for an immediate Division II vacancy on the International Student Records Committee – staff contact: Alyson Grady. No restrictions. Preference will be given to individuals with expertise in international records review

Division III

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the following September 2019 committee vacancies. Individuals with regional advisory committee (RAC) experience are encouraged to submit nominations for sports committees with RACs.

Deadline - April 26, 2019:

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the following September 2019 committee vacancies. Individuals with regional advisory committee (RAC) experience are encouraged to submit nominations for sports committees with RACs.

  • Division III Men’s Lacrosse Committee – staff contact: Will Hopkins. The Division III Men’s Lacrosse Committee is expanding to five members beginning September 1, 2019. Two vacancies. One must be a coach and one must be an administrator. One must be from Region I (eligible conferences: Commonwealth Coast Conference; Great Northeast Athletic Conference, Little East Conference, New England Small College Athletic Conference, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference, North Atlantic Conference), and one must be from Region V (eligible conferences: College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Midwest Lacrosse Conference, Southern Athletic Association). Eligible Pool B institutions (Centenary College (Louisiana), Colorado College, University of Dallas, Johnson & Wales University (Denver), Northland College, Southwestern University (Texas), Whittier College).
  • Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committee – staff contact: Kevin AlcoxThe Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committee is expanding to seven members beginning September 1, 2019. Two vacancies. One must be an administrator. The other can be a coach or administrator. One must be from Region 2 (eligible conferences: Commonwealth Coast Conference, Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, New England Collegiate Conference, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference). One must be from Region 5 (eligible conferences: Capital Athletic Conference, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Southern Athletic Association, USA South Athletic Conference).

Deadline - May 10, 2019:

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the following committee vacancies. Individuals with regional advisory committee (RAC) experience are encouraged to submit nominations for sports committees with RACs.

  • Division III Championships Committee – staff contact: Liz Suscha. One July 1, 2019, vacancy. The appointee will replace Brian Jamros, The College of St. Scholastica, who will resign from the committee at that time. The appointee must be from Region 4 (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming). The following conferences are currently, or were recently, represented on the committee and are therefore not eligible for consideration: Centennial Conference, Commonwealth Coast Conference, Middle Atlantic Conferences, Midwest Conference, New England Small College Athletic Conference, USA South Athletic Conference.
  • Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee – staff contact: Kevin Alcox. One September 2019 vacancy. Coach or administrator. The following conferences are currently, or will be, represented on the committee and are therefore not eligible for consideration: College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, New England Small College Athletic Conference, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference, New Jersey Athletic Conference, North Coast Athletic Conference, Presidents’ Athletic Conference, Skyline Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
