Committee Vacancies

Note: To be eligible to serve on a divisional cabinet or committee, or as a divisional representative on an Association-wide or common committee, an individual must be salaried on a regular basis by an institution or conference in the same division and perform a regular staff function representing at least 50 percent of the normal workload for a staff member at that institution or conference, unless otherwise specified.

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the following committee vacancies:

Division I

Division I nominations must be submitted by a Division I conference. Contact your conference if you are interested in being considered for any Division I committee vacancy.

Deadline: Sep. 14, 2018

The NCAA is soliciting additional nominations for a September 1, 2018, vacancy on the Division I Infractions Appeals Committee – staff contact: Wendy Walters. The committee preference is for nominees who have of Juris Doctor (JD) and one of the following: (1) several years of experience in senior level athletics administration at a university or conference; (2) senior university administration experience with an interest and experience in intercollegiate athletics (e.g., president, provost, dean, etc.) as well as regulatory or judicial experience; or (3) university counsel with an interest and experience in intercollegiate athletics.

Division II

Deadline: Sep. 7, 2018

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for an immediate vacancy on the Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee - staff contact: Morgan DeSpain. The appointee must be from the Midwest region and can be a coach or administrator. For sports with regional advisory committees (RACs), individuals with RAC experience are encouraged to submit nominations.

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for an immediate vacancy on the Division II Committee on Infractions - staff contact: Shep Cooper. There are no restrictions on this appointment.

Deadline: Aug. 24, 2018

The NCAA is soliciting nominations for a September 1, 2018, vacancy on the Division II Wrestling Committee - staff contact: Ryan Tressel. The Wrestling Committee will expand to six members for the 2018-19 academic year. The appointee must be from Super Region 4 and can be a coach or administrator.  The following institutions are eligible for consideration:  Drury University, Fort Hays State University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Lindenwood University, Maryville University of Saint Louis, McKendree University, University of Central Missouri, University of Central Oklahoma, Newman University and Ouachita Baptist University.

Division III
