DII SAAC Super Region Convention Eligibility

2024 Division II SAAC Super Region Convention

The NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Super Region Convention is a unique educational opportunity, which requires diversity and inclusion. Consideration for selecting Division II SAAC Super Region Convention participants should be given to student-athletes with a diverse representation of experiences and those that will have a positive influence on their campus and within the community.

The November 21-23, 2025 super region convention is open to active member institutions in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, Great Northwest Athletic Conference, Lone Star Conference, Pacific West Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

2024 Division II SAAC Super Region Convention

Each Division II conference office in the eligible super region will select two student-athletes and one administrator from each of their active member schools, and one administrator from the conference office to attend. Conference commissioners also have the opportunity to attend, but they must cover their own expenses if another conference office administrator is attending. Conference administrators cannot self-nominate and must be nominated by another eligible designee (e.g., commissioner, conference senior woman administrator, conference student-athlete affairs administrator or conference special assistant as listed in the NCAA Directory). Those selected to participate must be entered in the NCAA Program Hub and their nomination must be completely submitted between 9 a.m. Eastern time Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, and 5 p.m. Eastern time Friday, Sep. 12, 2025.

Additional Requirements:

  • One female student-athlete and one male student-athlete for each active member institution. (Single-gender institutions may nominate same gender student-athletes.)
  • It is strongly encouraged that at least one of the student-athletes from each institution is a person of color or international representative (international status based on country of primary citizenship).
  • All student-athletes in attendance must have athletic eligibility and be participating in a NCAA sponsored sport during the 2025-26 academic year.
  • It is required that at least one of the student-athletes from each institution has at least one year of athletic eligibility remaining beyond the 2025-26 academic year.
  • Student-athletes must be in good academic standing according to the institutional requirements and be an active volunteer in the community.
  • All participants must have demonstrated the ability or a strong desire to lead.
  • All participants selected are expected to participate in all activities.
