The NCAA | Women Leaders in College Sports Women's Leadership Symposium is developed for women aspiring to or just beginning a career in intercollegiate athletics. This program aims to enrich participants’ skills, expand their professional network and promote the recruitment and retention of women working in intercollegiate athletics administration. The program goals include, but are not limited to:
- Connect with other women in the industry and expand your professional network.
- Improve soft skills (resume, interviewing, personal branding).
- Get a better understanding of how the college athletics industry works.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
Women aspiring for a career in intercollegiate athletics, including, but not limited to:
- Graduate Students/Assistants, interns, entry-level staff
- Able to attend the entire event
- You must be a Women Leaders member to attend.
Cost of attending
The tuition fee for WLS is $75 per participant and includes registration,6-8 hours of virtual programming, career advancement resources and all program materials.
Application
Applications will be reviewed by the Women Leaders in College Sports Education & Professional Development Committee and selections are made based on ensuring diversity in age, administrative duties, division and ethnicity. 100 participants will be selected to attend. Please check the Women Leaders in College Sports website for application dates. Refunds will not be granted, nor will they be given for no-shows. No exceptions.
