Student-Athlete Leadership Forum Eligible Institutions

The 2023-24 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum will take place from April 11-14 in Bethesda, MD.  Attendance at the forum is at no cost to the participants, institutions or conference offices – the NCAA pays for airfare or mileage, shuttle transportation, lodging and meals; however, rental car fees are not reimbursed.

  • Each Division I conference office will nominate two (2) student-athletes from among their member schools and one (1) administrator from the conference office to attend.
  • Each Division II conference office will nominate three (3) student-athletes from among their member schools and one (1) administrator from the conference office to attend.

For Division III, the 2023-24 Student-Athlete Leadership Forum is open to institutions in Region 2, which per NCAA bylaw 4.13.1.1, includes schools from New York and Pennsylvania.

  • Oct. 2, 2023: Nominee registration period opens (8 a.m. Eastern time)
  • Nov. 3, 2023: Nominee registration closes (5 p.m. Eastern time)
  • April 11-14, 2024: Student-Athlete Leadership Forum dates (Bethesda, MD)

How to Apply

When the nomination window opens, the NCAA Division I conference offices, Division II conference offices, and Division III institutions in Region 2 may submit nominations via the “Nominator” tab in the NCAA Program Hub by entering a nominee’s name and email address.

Those with nominator capabilities are: 

  • Commissioners, senior woman administrators or student-athlete affairs administrators from a conference office (only) at the Division I and II levels.
  • Division III senior woman administrators, student-athlete affairs administrators, and athletics directors.

Nominated student-athletes will receive an email asking them to log onto Program Hub to complete their application.
