On the world’s stage

Success on the field, in the classroom and in life is at the heart of our mission. At the NCAA, we support learning through sports by integrating athletics and higher education to enrich the college experience of student-athletes.

We salute the variety of academic endeavors of the 2015 Women’s World Cup athletes. They prove that the very best in sport can achieve in innumerable arenas on and off the playing field.

We encourage you to share your favorites via social media and to also be #WorldClass in every goal you aspire.

U.S. Women’s National Team

Before they earned a spot on the roster, all 23 members of the U.S. Women’s World Cup Team perfected their craft at an NCAA-member school. While they share one goal this month – to be the world’s best – they each pursued a different path off the pitch that led them to the World Cup.
