The dates in this calendar reflect the application of NCAA Division II Bylaw 13.17.1 at the time of publication but are subject to change per NCAA Constitution 5.2.3.1 or if certain dates (e.g., National Letter of Intent signing dates) are altered.
(a) June 1-14, 2012: Quiet Period
(b) June 15 through August 1, 2012: Evaluation Period
(c) August 2 through September 6, 2012: Quiet Period
(d) September 7 through October 14, 2012: Contact Period
(e) October 15, 2012, to the date of the prospect’s initial high school or two-year college contest: Quiet Period
(f) November 12 (7 a.m.) - 14 (7 a.m.), 2012: Dead Period
(g) The period between the prospect’s initial and final high school or two-year college contests: Evaluation Period
(h) March 1 through May 20, 2013, [except for (1) and (2) below]: Contact Period
(1) April 4-9 (noon), 2013: Dead Period
(2) April 15 (7 a.m.) - 17 (7 a.m.), 2013: Dead Period
(i) During any high school all-star game that occurs within the state in which the member institution is located: Evaluation Period
(j) April 5-9 (12:01 p.m.), 2013: Evaluation shall be permitted at any all-star contest held during the final weekend of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in the host city (Atlanta, Georgia): Evaluation Period
(k) All other dates: Quiet Period
