Health and Safety

Athletes face even more personal and physical challenges than the average college student. Below are links to resources and programs that the NCAA supports to help student-athletes stay healthy and make the proper choices.  The  NCAA Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports (CSMAS) is to provide expertise and leadership to the Association in order to promote a healthy and safe environment for student-athletes through research, education, collaboration and policy development.

Up Right!

Working closely with the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA), the University of Notre Dame has launched Up Right!, a national educational campaign about aerial lift safety. Resources available through the campaign include safety best practices and training for the use of aerial (e.g. scissor or bucket) lifts at athletic practices. For more information and to review the resource toolkits, visit http://liftupright.org.”
