Coker is adding women’s golf as a varsity sport beginning in 2010-11. The newest member of the Cobra athletic program will begin competition in fall 2010.

Current head men’s golf coach Tommy Baker will coach the team while retaining his duties with the men’s team.

The addition of women’s golf will give Coker 13 NCAA Division II sports next year. Coker is the ninth Conference Carolinas member to sponsor women’s golf.
