INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Committee has announced the regional and championship sites for the 2011 Division I Women’s Golf Championship.

The three regional sites and hosts are as follows: University of Notre Dame will host the Central Regional Championship at the Warren Golf Course in Notre Dame, Ind.; Stetson University will serve as host of the East Regional Championship at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.; and the University of Washington will host the West Regional Championship at the Washington National Golf Club in Seattle, Wash. All three regionals will be played May 5-7.

The eight lowest scoring teams, as well as the two lowest scoring individuals not on an advancing team, from each of the three regional championships will qualify for the 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship. The championship will be held May 17-20 at the Traditions Golf Club in College Station, Texas, with Texas A&M University serving as the host.
