At Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, your hear the inspiring story of swimmers David Gatz and Usman Javaid, teammates and best friends who established an organization called “Channeling Peace”, and attempted to swim the English Channel together to promote peace.
At Columbia University in New York City, you will meet Jeff Spear, a national champion and an Academic All-Åmerican in fencing.
And in the Rocky Mountains, you will meet cross-country skier Antje Maempel. Her two individual championships helped the University of Denver win last year’s team national championship.
This month’s NCAA On Campus premiers Monday, February 1, at 8:30 PM Eastern on CBS College Sports Network and the show will re-air on the CBS College Sports throughout the month.
