The Awards, Benefits, Expenses and Financial Aid Cabinet along with the Championships/Sports Management Cabinet and the Recruiting and Athletics Personnel Issues Cabinet have replaced the former Championships/Competition Cabinet.

The Awards, Benefits, Expenses and Financial Aid Cabinet reports to the Division I Leadership Council on policy issues and the Division I Legislative Council on legislative issues.

This cabinet addresses NCAA Bylaw 15 financial aid matters and issues pertaining to NCAA Bylaw 16 awards, benefits and expenses for enrolled student-athletes excluding championship awards and travel.
