Where are they now?

Troy Aikman has always excelled under the spotlight. In his early years, he found success on the football field at Oklahoma and UCLA. Now, Aikman is surrounded by studio lights as a color analyst for the NFL on Fox. A former star quarterback, Aikman was an All-American and a 2008 College Hall of Fame inductee. He later was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame for the Dallas Cowboys. With the Cowboys, Aikman was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time Super Bowl champion. In 2014, Aikman was named a recipient of the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award, an honor bestowed upon former student-athletes for their collegiate and professional achievements.

NCAA announces 2018 Silver Anniversary Award recipients

Six former college athletes will receive the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award in recognition of their collegiate and professional achievements. The Silver Anniversary Award annually recognizes distinguished individuals on the 25th anniversary of the conclusion of their college athletics careers.
