Ice Hockey Rules Committee clarifies incidental contact rule

The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Rules Committee recommended a modification to the rules regarding contact between goalkeepers and offensive players, allowing referees to judge incidental contact.

Plattsburgh State downs familiar foe

Plattsburgh State University of New York defeated Elmira 3-2 in the championship final, avenging their only two losses of the season and capturing the Division III Women’s Hockey Championship. Breakthrough performance

When Elmira College made its debut in women’s ice hockey, the program wasn’t the only thing in its first year; all the players except two were freshmen. One of those first-year students, however, became perhaps the best player in Division III women’s ice hockey history.
