Amherst rebounds from early-season disappointment

Bryce Ciambella scored his first goal of the season on a 25-yard strike in the 55th minute, breaking a 1-1 tie and ultimately giving the Purple and White their first national championship.

Explosive offense gives Pfeiffer national title

All season long, Pfeiffer University’s offense fueled its success. Junior forward Nathan Regis, who led the nation in goals with 32, was the catalyst for the potent attack. Regis tallied two goals in the championship match of the Division II men’s soccer tournament, and the Falcons captured a 4-0 win.

Onward and Upward, but Still Giving Back

After years of playing soccer, including at the college level at Valparaiso University, Serratore is now a volunteer coach for the University of Oregon’s women’s soccer team, where he tutors the goalkeepers.

Stanford caps four-year turnaround with title

When Jeremy Gunn was hired to coach the Stanford University men’s soccer team in 2011, he inherited a squad coming off a 6-10-2 season. Fast-forward four years, and Stanford is a national champion.
