Hazing

Hazing on campus is an important issue that impacts the well-being of the student body and the campus community. The NCAA Sport Science Institute is committed to supporting and working with campus professionals, higher education associations and subject matter experts to help prevent hazing and support campuses in creating and maintaining a safe campus environment.

This handbook for athletics administrators identifies what hazing is; why athletes and teams haze; what hazing does; and educational programs and positive approaches to team building. The handbook provides information and resources for campuses to maintain a healthy and safe environment for all student-athletes.
