Fourth Annual NCAA-DoD Grand Alliance Concussion Conference Canceled

The Fourth Annual NCAA-DoD Grand Alliance Concussion Conference scheduled for Thursday, April 23 has been canceled due to the evolving public health situation involving COVID-19. This decision has been made in consultation with the Atlantic Coast Conference, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the Department of Defense, and the NCAA COVID-19 advisory panel, and for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of conference participants.

At this time, we fully anticipate hosting the Fourth Annual Concussion Conference in the spring of 2021. The exact date and location of the conference is still under consideration. Additional details will be made available to the public later this year. Registered participants are responsible for adjusting any existing personal travel arrangements, including flight or hotel plans.

Thank you for your understanding of this decision, which was the product of close collaboration between the NCAA, its partners, and the foremost public health authorities including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We look forward to future opportunities to share the groundbreaking information emerging from the NCAA-DoD Grand Alliance.
