Finalists named for 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year award

Nine student-athletes have been selected as finalists for the 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year award, which will be announced Oct. 19 during a ceremony in Indianapolis.

This doctor has potential student-athletes in mind

Tammi Williams, a Texas Woman’s University alumnus and former NCAA Division II All-America basketball player, currently works as a pediatrician at the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving, Tex., where she serves a variety of patients from underserved and affluent populations alike.
