AREAS
The Hall of
Champions, located adjacent to the National Collegiate Athletic
Association's new office building in White River State Park, features
two levels of highly interactive displays.
Great Hall
This public area features banners recognizing current winners
of the 87 NCAA national championships,
and a unique view of the sports world via the "Look Up to
Champions" video display. The Hall of Champions admissions
area is also located here.
Theaters
Three theaters offer a variety of video presentations. The first
floor's Champions Theater and the second floor's Final Four Theater
each offer entertaining multimedia features. The Locker
Room provides an insightful glimpse into the world of college athletics.
The Gallery
This 3,000 square foot gallery will host travelling exhibitions and temporary displays.
Display
Areas
The 25,000 square feet of exhibit space includes interactive kiosks
and games, hands-on displays, historical and current information
about the NCAA and its member schools, the traditions and values
of college athletics and much more! All 23 sports in Divisions
I, II and III are represented.
Hall of
Honor
This detailed gallery pays tribute to both the academic and athletic
achievements of current and former student-athletes. Find previous
winners of the NCAA's Silver Anniversary Award, Top Eight Award,
Woman of the Year Award and the coveted Theodore Roosevelt Award,
which is presented each year to a distinguished citizen of national
reputation and outstanding accomplishment who was a varsity letter-winner
in college.
The Gymnasium
The look of 1930s-era gym is apparent with its glazed tile walls,
hardwood floors and large grille-covered windows. When not in
use for educational programs and clinics, visitors can try on
and handle a wide assortment of sports equipment; it's also a
great place to perfect your jump shot.
NCAA Gift Shop
Accessible from the Great Hall, the NCAA Gift Shop features
official NCAA licensed products and exclusive Hall of Champions
souvenirs. Clothing, posters, videos, official balls, books and
more are all available in this unique collegiate shopping environment.
Wrap-Around
Video Wall
Directly above the atrium is the 144-monitor video wall. This
is a one-of-a-kind sports imagery showcase paying larger-than-life
homage to champions in all NCAA sports. It is a prime feature
of the Hall of Champions.
