In the Association’s continuing efforts to support college athletes, the NCAA Board of Governors voted unanimously to permit students participating in athletics the opportunity to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness in a manner consistent with the collegiate model.

Special Olympics Spotlight Poll Winner - June 2020

After 1,285 total votes, MSMC Men's And Women's Basketball Host Clinic With Special Olympics won the June Special Olympics Spotlight Poll by gathering 55% (709) of the total votes. The Knights will receive $500 to use for its next Special Olympics event

Diversity Spotlight Initiative - June 2020

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is the recipient of the June Division III Diversity Spotlight Initiative.  The institution’s student-athletes held a donation drive to collect items to help areas negatively affected by the riots in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing.  Click here for the full story. 

The Diversity Spotlight Initiative recognizes and promotes outstanding diversity related projects, programming and initiatives that are occurring on Division III campuses and in conference offices. All selected recipients receive $500 toward their next diversity initiative.
