Former NCAA postgraduate intern Matt Goff reflects on his experiences. He is now in the athletics department at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Annual forum helps students reach potential

William Isabell, a Central State football player and history major, was among nearly 300 NCAA student-athletes at the Leadership Forum. Athletics administrators at schools and conference offices nominated the young leaders, with representation from all three NCAA divisions.

In her words: Jaleesa Rhoden, former NCAA postgraduate intern

In 2013-14, Jaleesa Rhoden worked within the championships and alliances group, primarily for the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. A native of London, Ontario, Rhoden attended the University of Georgia, played basketball and was a member of SAAC.

NCAA celebrates National Student-Athlete Day

I learned about the NCAA and NFL Coaches Academy when I first entered the Future Football Coaches Academy a few years back. This program piqued my interest then, but I wasn't eligible for this opportunity. After I finished Future Football Coaches Academy, I applied for this program every year. I'm grateful I got the opportunity to do it this year.

Becca Yost is in her first year as a graduate assistant coach with the Frostburg State University men’s and women’s swimming teams in Maryland. Yost graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the spring with a bachelor’s degree in business management and entrepreneurship and was the operations intern at Virginia Amateur Sports.
