Play4Kay webinar set for June 29

Free planning, marketing webinar will be held at 1 p.m. Eastern time

After an inspiring National Association of Collegiate Marketing AdministratorsConvention last week, you can continue planning for the women’s basketball season by participating in the next NCAA webinar at 1 p.m. Eastern time June 29. Stephanie Glance, executive director of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, joins the NCAA staff to share “The Original Play4Kay Game Plan as Envisioned by Kay Yow.

Everyone involved in the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is grateful for those who contribute to the Play4Kay initiative each year, and now Glance will provide additional insight that will make an even bigger impact this season. She will share Yow’s motivation, vision and elements for the Play4Kay games, as well as best practices. Register to participate in this free webinar or to receive a copy of the recording upon its completion.

The Play4Kay initiative is part of the 2016-17 Creative Challenge, so be sure to take notes for your chance to win a donation to your marketing budget for the best Play4Kay game in February. If you have questions regarding the webinars or the Creative Challenge, please email Tracie Hitz at thitz@ncaa.org.

Additional resources to help with your planning for the 2016-17 season are below for your reference, including our most recent webinar held last month in conjunction with the WBCA that focused on coaching millennials. While this webinar was geared toward coaches, the advice provided by psychologists Chris Carr and Kacey Oiness is also relevant to administrators.
