Get ready for the 2016-17 women's basketball season

As the NCAA continues to partner with institutions on women’s basketball marketing initiatives, be sure to attend the marketing webinar on Thursday, September 29 at 1 pm EST to see how you can be part of the plans for the 2016-17 season.

Members of the NCAA staff will share information about new initiatives like the Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge, which gives your fans a chance to win a trip to the 2017 Women’s Final Four to compete during one of the Championship games.

Plus, the marketing contact at the winning school will also win a trip to the 2017 Women’s Final Four where they can attend the games, parties, the Beyond the Baseline Summit and the WBCA Convention.

The second annual National Media Day will also be discussed on the webinar with additional ways for all women’s basketball programs to get involved in this media blitz on ESPN on November 1, as well as new social media ideas created to push out more video content to fans. The NCAA staff will also share best practices for hosting a Field Trip/Education Day and entertaining fans during the games.

The webinar will conclude with information about the Creative Challenge, which was created two years ago to reward women’s basketball programs that get creative to promote their teams. The winners each month during the season receive a donation to their marketing budgets to assist with their future promotions.
