Transfer Information

Transferring schools can be one of the biggest decisions a college student makes. Changing schools can be a challenge both academically and athletically. Being informed is important.

NCAA transfer rules are a tricky subject – schools must consider the academic impact a transfer student may experience along with the competitive impact a team left behind might feel when a student-athlete leaves for another school. Member schools are regularly evaluating rules to strike the best balance between supporting the student-athletes who wish to transfer and those who remain at their original school.
