The deadline for nominating current and former student-athletes for NCAA Honors awards is May 2, leaving NCAA member schools 10 days to nominate worthy recipients.
The May 2 deadline applies to the 2015 Theodore Roosevelt Award, Silver Anniversary Award, Award of Valor and Inspiration Award. The awards recognize current and former student-athletes who have brought distinction to themselves, their schools and intercollegiate athletics. Nominations for the Today’s Top Ten will be accepted beginning in May.
Nominations can be submitted through the new NCAA Program Hub – a new system for administering the NCAA Honors nominations along with other scholarships, programs and awards the NCAA offers each year.
The awards will be presented at the Honors Celebration held during the 2015 NCAA Convention in the Washington, D.C., area.
