NCAA Effective Facilitation Workshops
The NCAA Effective Facilitation Workshops (Workshops) provide professional development to enhance small group facilitation skills. These two-day programs provide education in the areas below.
Facilitator Tool Kit
In one engaging session, participants will develop a tool kit to help construct and facilitate training sessions which deliver results!
In this hands-on environment, you will learn:
- How to design training!
- How to facilitate to engage your audience!
- How to gain marketable skills that will enhance your value to a team!
In this session, participants will experience a DiSC session they can replicate on campus. It is designed to follow the Effective Facilitation Workshop. Participants will leave with a “turn key” design they can use on campus with any identified audience. This will include an understanding of DiSC theory, handouts and PowerPoint slides to use, as well as a script which can be personalized.
This program is open to individuals administrators on campus who work in any capacity or engage with student-athletes. You are encouraged to invite individuals from student affairs, health services, housing or other areas on campus the athletic department works with.
The NCAA will cover all meals and hotel accommodations for those participating in the Workshops. Participants are responsible for the cost of their travel to and from the program.
