Leadership Institute Alumni Professional Development Information

As a way of continually engage both past and current NCAA Leadership Institute participants as they move along their career paths, Institute alumni are encouraged to attend programming annually.

The Leadership Institute currently provides tailored programming to assist racial and ethnic minorities in strategically mapping and planning their careers in athletics administration by providing professional development programming over the course of a calendar year, which includes two, one-week programs at the beginning and conclusion of that year.

Combining in-person sessions, continuing education activities throughout the year and the extensive alumni engagement, participants enhance and master skill sets, as well as explore and plan for future career goals and paths.

The 2015 Leadership Institute will take place July 10-19, 2015 at a site to be determined. Details for alumni professional development will be released as they become available.

Cost of Attendance

The NCAA will cover the cost associated with hotel accommodations, meals during the program and any program materials.

Institute alumni participants will cover travel expenses (flight, airport parking, and transportation to and from the hotel) and any meals associated with travel and after sessions conclude. Alumni will receive a $150 reimbursement stipend to assist with expenses.
