Division I Two-Year College Transfer Requirements

Two-year transfer requirements were created based on research. Data shows the two-year college grade-point average and a low number of physical education activity courses indicate probable academic success after transfer to a four-year school. The standards help student-athletes be prepared to transfer and academically succeed at the four-year school. Student-athletes who do not meet the transfer requirements are not eligible for competition, and must fulfill an academic year in residence; however, a two-year transfer waiver may be filed to seek eligibility (Two-Year Transfer Waivers).
